20th Annual DICE Awards.
The "Church of Video Games" project, a mixed media sculpture measuring approximately 6ft by 4.5ft, began with in-depth research into color, texture, and style, drawing insights from a variety of stakeholders. This research informed the creation of a logo and the design of motion graphics for the live stream.
I translated my findings into storyboards for the sculpture, which I presented to the Art Director for collaborative feedback. During production, I blended various media, incorporating both fabricated and handmade elements to develop an initial layout.
Working closely with the Art Director, we refined the sculpture through a detailed painting process, achieving a marbled, aged effect. The final result was the delivery of a fully realized logo and sculpture by Noodlehaus, bringing the theme to life and sparking a dynamic dialogue with viewers.
